In addition to the gastrointestinal adverse effects which were discussed in the first part of this article, oncologic patients suffer from
dermal and hematologic adverse effects and persisting fatigue, too.
Although the therapy of these adverse effects is mainly at the hands of the physician, the pharmacist can give adice and help the patient
especially by common information about the symptoms of adverse effects and explanation of their reasons or by reccomendation of
factual regime precautions and OTC drugs which can reduce the adverse effects or prevent them.
