Immunoglobulins (antibodies) are one of the basic molecules of immune system as a part of specific (acquired) immune answer of organism.
Antibodies are produced by plasmatic cells (differentiated B lymfocytes). Wide range of application is determinated especially by
their complex mechanism of use and safety profile. Main purpose of this article is rewiev about characteristics and therapeutical use of
polyclonal antibodies, although there is an increasing contribution of monoclonal antibodies in modern therapy as well.
