Combination therapy for hypertension in the year 2017 – the basic knowledge for pharmacists

In recent years, many guidelines for therapy of arterial hypertension were published. Even so, most patients don´t achieve their

blood pressure target. The reasons could be low compliance or unhealthy lifestyle, but also inadequate use of combination drug

therapy or irrational combinations of antihypertensive agents.
