Options of self-treatment in increased fatigue: What a pharmacist can advise

Fatigue is usually defined as a subjective feeling of weariness, lack of energy, and exhaustion. An inability to find the right amountand type of rest is the cause of many illnesses leading, for instance, to impaired defence against infections; dysfunction and diseaseof the cardiovascular system; gastrointestinal, urogenital, and autoimmune diseases; backache; as well as oncological diseases.The treatment for chronic fatigue is based on determination of objective causes of its development and their elimination. Thepresent article mainly deals with the issue of supportive treatment with registered phytopharmaceuticals.
