Přírodní látky v léčbě a prevenci alkoholizmu

Alkoholizmus je jedna z nejzávažnějších a nejrozšířenějších forem závislosti. Jeho terapie je velmi problematická a dlouhodobá. Z posledních výzkumů přírodních léčiv vyplývá, že látky z některých rostlin mohou snižovat dobrovolný příjem alkoholu nebo zmírňovat abstinenční příznaky. Mezi nejperspektivnější přírodní látky s těmito účinky patří deriváty alkaloidu ibogainu, isoflavonoidy puerarin a daidzin a floroglucinový derivát hyperforin.
