Co je dobré vědět o hořčíku

Hořčík je vedle draslíku nejvýznamnější intracelulární kationt. Ovlivňuje nejenom aktivitu řady buněčných enzymů, ale má i významné funkce ve vztahu k DNA, k integritě buňky, k procesům řízeného a programového zániku buňky.

Předložený článek si všímá nejenom fyziologie a metabolizmu tohoto iontu, ale i z toho plynoucích výstupů pro klinickou praxi – symptomatologie deficitů tohoto kationu v organizmu, výživových doporučení, možných interakcí.
