Pacient užívající cinnarizin v lékárně

Onemocnění tepenného cévního řečiště se rozhodující měrou podílejí na celkové mortalitě. Ve více než 90 % případů jsou způsobena aterosklerotickým procesem nebo nasedající trombózou, jejichž následkem dochází k omezení krevního přítoku do tkání periferně od místa postižení. Mnohem vzácnější je výskyt vaskulitid, aneuryzmat, embolií, traumatu či útlaku přívodné tepny. Nejčastěji postiženými tepnami jsou koronární arterie, hrudní aorta, arteria poplitea, vnitřní karotické arterie a tepny cerebrálního Willisova okruhu. Cinnarizin našel své místo v terapii poruch prokrvení končetin a centrálního nervového systému.
