Anion cream in extemporaneous prescription

Anionic cream is a pharmacopoeial, but not universal, excipient in the form of a hydrophilic cream (an oil-in-water emulsion) that can be

used for extemporaneous preparation in pharmacies. The article deals with the composition, structure, and galenic properties of anion

cream. The examples of formulas presented here illustrate the options of incorporating individual drugs into pharmaceutical preparations

that can be used in dermatology in case a light, not too greasy, water-washable cream base is required.
