Pět klíčových oblastí v samoléčbě hemoroidální nemoci pohledem farmaceuta

Hemoroidální nemocí dle statistik trpí alespoň jedenkrát za život více než polovina všech obyvatel průmyslově vyspělých zemí. Symptomy spojené s tímto onemocněním přivádějí často pacienty, dříve než do ordinace lékaře, do lékárny. Úkolem odborných zaměstnanců lékáren je pak správně vyhodnotit charakter pacientových potíží, jejich závažnost, zvolit vhodný terapeutický postup samoléčby a v neposlední řadě též doporučit návštěvu lékaře. Symptomy doprovázející hemoroidální nemoc mohou být totiž více či méně podobné symptomům doprovázejícím jiná onemocnění lokalizovaná v téže oblasti - ať už se jedná například o perianální trombózu, anální fisuru nebo kolorektální karcinom. Článek si proto klade za cíl seznámit čtenáře formou přehledu shrnutého v konceptu "5S" s klíčovými oblastmi farmaceutické péče o pacienty nejen s hemoroidální nemocí.
