The results of many studies have indicated the benefit of using myo-inositol in reproductive medicine. Ear infections are one of the most common diseases ever. They occur mainly in children and they are the most common reason for antibiotic therapy (1, 2, 3). Precise classification is sometimes difficult. The easiest way is to distinguish acute and chronic inflammation. Special status have secretory otitis, but the boundaries sometimes disappears.Complications of otitis media can be life-threatening. Early detection and treatment of ear diseases can have a major impact on child development.

Pharmacogenetics is the field that studies the impact of the genetic variability of a patient on the effectiveness and side effects of pharmacotherapy. This field is the basis for personalized medicine. Genotyping of patients may determine the choice and dosage of a drug with respect to the prevention of toxicity and prediction of pharmacotherapeutic effect. The aim of this article is to describe the importance of pharmacogenetics in the practice of a pharmacist-managed clinical service.

Contemporary lifestyle brings many health risks which contribute to diseases of civilization, such as obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, metabolic syndrome and others. Nowadays, the great boom have functional food, which contain besides nutrients also another health-promoting compounds which have positive effect on human health and can reduce negative impacts of inappropriate lifestyle. One of functionals foods is wolfberry fruit, known as goji. It contains polysaccharides, flavonoids, carotenoids and other biologically active compounds with verified therapeutic effects.

Medication non-adherence is frequently occurred drug-related problem. The aim of this geriatric case report is to present the possibility of detection and solution of non-adherence to the selected pharmacotherapy during the pharmaceutical care in community pharmacy.
