Metotrexate (MTX) is currently the most commonly used disease-modifying drug for rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an inflammatory autoimmune disease characterized by erosive synovitis that ultimately results in joint destruction and disability of the patient. The warts are benign lesions, which occur mainly on the skin, rarely on the mucosa. Human papillomavirus (HPV) is responsible for a number of lesions. Children, adolescents and people with diminished resistence are mostly infected. We differentiate several types of warts – verrucae vulgares, verrucae plantares, verrucae planae juveniles, verrucae filliformes and condylomata accuminata.

The article deals with the specifics of arterial hypertension in the elderly population and the act of providing pharmaceutical care in pharmacy. In the elderly, there are involution changes in all organ systems, this is a reason why it is necessary to look at the elderly patients individually. Insomnia significantly reduces quality of life and can lead to many psychological symptoms such as fatigue, sleep and sleepiness during the day, irritability, problems with concentration and memory disorders. The second part of the article on Basiscreme DAC (Cremor basalis DAC) cream basis deals with the options of use in extemporaneous formulation in terms of the requirements of Czech prescription. Major attention is paid to topical corticosteroids. Also presented is a comparison with the other hydrocream bases, the properties of which often restrict a more versatile use. Immunoglobulins (antibodies) are one of the basic molecules of immune system as a part of specific (acquired) immune answer of organism. Treatment of rhinitis as seen by a pharmacist

Rhinitis is a common complaint of patients attending the pharmacy. It is necessary to approach to the treatment responsibly, taking into account the patient's history, and then to prescribe a medication or refer the patient to a secondary care physician – an ENT specialist or an allergist. The common infectious viral rhinitis can be treated by a pharmacist or pharmaceutical assistant directly in the particular patient. A wide range of topical agents (nasal drops, sprays, ointments) or systemically administered medicinal products, mostly fixed combinations with antipyretics or antitussives, are available.
